What is IFS?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps you explore and heal your inner world. It’s based on the idea that we’re all made up of different ‘parts’ inner voices, feelings, or patterns that have developed over time to help us cope, survive, or stay safe.
You might notice a part of you that’s highly self-critical, another that wants to shut down and disappear, or one that tries to keep everything under control. In IFS, we don’t try to get rid of these parts we get to know them. We listen to what they’re protecting, what they’ve been through, and what they need.
At the heart of IFS is the belief that you have a core 'Selfcalm, compassionate, wise, and capable of healing. From this Self, you can build real, lasting relationships with your parts, helping them to soften, release old burdens, and find new roles.
IFS can help with:
• Anxiety, depression, and trauma
• Inner conflict or overwhelm
• Burnout, perfectionism, and self-criticism
• Relationship struggles
• A deep longing for more inner peace and self-connection
Whether your wounds are recent or rooted in the past, IFS offers a gentle, profound path toward inner healing and wholeness.
